Swaythling Lawn Tennis Club is a small friendly LTA affiliated tennis club with two well maintained grass courts located in the lower green in Ethelburt Avenue. We welcome beginners and juniors, as well as more experienced players, who are able to make use of the courts, take part in mix-ins with other members and play in friendly matches with other local clubs.
The new season starts on Saturday 3rd May, depending on the weather, and play continues to the end of September. Please come along to one of our mix-ins on Monday and Wednesday evenings or Saturday afternoons to try out the courts for a free session before you decide to join or pay green fees for up to 6 more sessions. Fees for 2025 are: £90 for adults, £30 for juniors under the age of 18, and £180 for families. Social (non-playing) members can join for £10. For the first year new adult members pay £50, and families pay just £120.

The Tennis Club welcomes you to our annual sale of plants and homemade cakes on Saturday 17th May at the club from 11 am to 1 pm.
On the same day, the club will be open for potential new members to try out our much admired grass courts for free from 2pm onwards.
