I have noticed with concern the occasional appearance of huge advertisements covering nearly the whole of a building next to the “Clock Garage” by the Chilworth Roundabout (the premises of the advertising and public relations agency Leepeckgreenfield Ltd). I find such large advertisements unaesthetic and possibly dangerous on such a busy interchange. The firm concerned put in for planning permission for further advertising. The application was rejected. I am told that the firm will certainly appeal.
